Hip Pocket formed 15 years ago and is led by multi-instrumentalist Adam Rohrlick who plays saxophone, electric guitar and keyboards. Previously performed tributes to guitarists Pat Metheny and Grant Green, Hip Pocket has appeared several times in the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, the BMO Vancouver Marathon, the Terry Fox Run, and regularly performs at local clubs and restaurants in the Lower Mainland. For this performance, Hip Pocket will play a tribute to saxophonist David Sanborn featuring Adam Rohrlick on alto saxophone, Tilden Webb on keyboards, Andreas Schuld on electric guitar, Graham Clark on electric bass, and Joel Fountain on drums.
