As one cyclist told the Vancouver Courier, "you just have to race Gastown".

Gastown is expecting crowds nearing 30,000 for The Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix this Wednesday, July 11th. The famous Canadian criterium bicycle race attracts North America’s best cyclists, known for it's original course map (cobblestone, of course) and hairpin turns. It also boasts the largest prizes in North America. All this to say, it's set to be a very exciting and memorable Wednesday.
