TWO. The Blarney Stone is hosting one of the biggest St. Patty's events in Vancouver! The oldest and longest running Irish pub in Vancouver, the Blarney Stone, plays host to the largest St. Patrick’s party over two days and two nights. This annual event takes place Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17, 2013.
To accommodate the enormity of the festivities, Carrall Street, directly in front of the Blarney Stone will be closed to make way for festival style free entertainment, both indoors and out, including traditional Irish performances, pipes and drums, highland dancers, street performers, musicians, and Irish inspired food and drink for all ages.
The heart of the event is the Blarney Stone’s live music tent, a huge heated patio, setting the stage for this unforgettable party.
Located in the center of Vancouver’s original Irish District, the Blarney Stone is the epicenter of the Irish community of years past and remains as the Irish anchor in old Gastown today.
