As the world is slowly re-opening, this is a gentle reminder that Gastown is still here and that we couldn’t be more ready to sweep you into our sweet sweet embrace. We say “gentle reminder,” but what we actually mean is that now is the time to get to Gastown.

Gastown Unplugged 

The streets are alive with the sound of music.

Every Thursday until September 9th, Gastown streets are transforming into a series of mini stages to help support local artists. From jazz to slow jams and everything in between, come on down and enjoy music from the comfort of your favourite patio or while roaming the cobblestone streets.

Little by little Gastown is being transformed into an outdoor gallery. From alleyways to plazas, there’s plenty of colour to go around. 

 

Parking

Gastown is one of the most walkable areas in Vancouver, but we also don’t discriminate against drivers. There are ample parking options out there, including a world class parkade – you heard us right, the Gastown parkade was recently named one of the World’s most interesting parkades.  Skip the headache and visit yet another city landmark or zip into one of the many metered street spots throughout the neighbourhood.
