100 Years of Bauhaus is a week-long event celebrating the centennial of design and architectural modernism. A joint venture between the German Consulate Vancouver, the West Vancouver Art Museum and UBC SALA, the exhibition will display the works of notable German and Canadian artists.

Jean Molitor, whose work spans continents from Africa, Asia and into corners of South America. The intention of Molitor is to underscore connections and the global exchange that took place during the Bauhaus era and beyond, documenting the buildings of this period as they appear in everyday life.

Selwyn Pullan was a leading commercial photographer. Pullan’s architectural photography from the 50s to 70s promoted a modern way of living in Vancouver and beyond. His selected works are a collection of mid-century modern residences and buildings that have been modified or demolished.
