“Las Sombras” is a Vancouver based flamenco ensemble that plays with the light and dark aspects of flamenco song, guitar and dance. This ensemble roots from the traditional branches of flamenco into the new contemporary global sounds of the genre. The ensemble is made up of enchanting dance from Sydney Cochrane and Michelle Harding, the melodies of accomplished and well-known flamenco guitarist Peter Mole, and the magical eastern vocal stylings of Farnaz Ohadi.
