The Organizer consists of some of Vancouver’s top session musicians. Collectively spanning 120 years of professional music experience, the trio explores their roots with Booker T and M.G’s, and The Meters influenced Hammond driven grooves.

Energetic folk rock with melody and a familiar twang, Jay Gavin and The Tired Sunday Choir are a boot stomping, rollicking good time. With a knack for hooks and sing along lyrics, Jay’s well-crafted songs feel old and true, ragged but real with the noticeable influence of his heroes like John Prine, Hayes Carll and Fred Eaglesmith. The Tired Sunday Choir’s brand of barrel-aged folk, transports audiences with their porch-sittin’, kitchen party vibe and gets everyone hootin’ and hollerin’.
