In the summer of 2002, a group of seven musician friends formed The Deep End out of a common love of soul and funk music. The band very quickly established a reputation for attracting large audiences and for getting people out of their seats and onto the dance floor, and have since had rooms cookin’ all over Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Whistler and the BC Interior. The members of The Deep End take pride not only in their quality musicianship, but also in their ability to customize their shows according to the needs of their clients. At full force this is a 7-piece Funk, Motown, Soul, and Blues band, but also has the ability to satisfy more intimate background needs.
