Dine Out Vancouver 2014 x Gastown Restaurants
Dine Out Vancouver Festival is returning for its 12th annual year from Friday, January 17 until Sunday, February 2. This is your chance to dine at some of the best restaurants in Gastown and enjoy amazing three-course meals with prix fixe menus priced at $18, $28, and $38. Secret Location 10 Course Tasting Menu
From January 16 to February 15, Secret Location Tasting Room will create a daily changing 10-course tasting menu during evening service. The tasting menu will include:
3 snacks
2 appetizers
2 savoury
1 palate cleanser
2 sweet
Executive Chef Jefferson Alvarez.
$75 per person with complimentary drinks.
Price quoted per person, gratuities and tax extra.

Australian Day Feature Menu at Chill Winston

New in Gastown: Eyeland Framemakers
Gastown is welcoming a new shop to the neighbourhood! Canada’s only in-house, hand-made, frame purveyor, Eyeland Framemakers has opened at 45 Water Street. Stop by the new store and check out Eyeland Framework’s line of eyewear, designed and crafted entirely in Canada.
Corsage and Boutonniere Making Workshop
This Saturday, January 18th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Olla Urban Flower Project is hosting a corsage and boutonniere making workshop. Come learn how to design pin-on corsages and boutonniere pins + custom wrist corsages in time to help out the graduates and betrothed among your friends and family. Each participant will walk away with a few unique creations and take home materials (one roll of floral tape + one roll of floral wire).
