Gastown’s newest coffee shop, Timbertrain Coffee Roasters is hosting their grand opening tomorrow, Wednesday February 12th. Pop by Timbertrain’s coffee shop at 311 W. Cordova Street from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for complimentary house coffee and baked goods.
Valentine’s Day menu specials in Gastown
It’s almost time to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Select Gastown restaurants will be offering a unique Valentine’s Day menu on Friday, February 14th. Check out the Gastown Valentine’s Day Dining guide to get a sneak peek at the special set menus.

Felice – Lemon coffee bean infused grappa, stirred with cinzano rosso vermouth, chianti reduction syrup with a hint of white truffle and Aphrodite bitters
Green Eggs and Ham – Tequila, green charteuce, lime juice, honey, orange bitters, whole egg, bacon salt
Buffalo Samurai Smash – Sake, zubrowka vodka, lemon, cucumber, Gyokuro green tea syrup, shisho leaf.

New Jack Swang Valentines Edition at Portside Pub
This Thursday, February 13th, Portside Pub will be hosting a New Jack Swang night, playing nothing but the finest hip and R&B from the late 80’s and early 90’s with DJ She and DJ Bles-sed. Tickets are $5 and available at the door only.
Team Hewitt Plays Live at Portside Pub
Come on down to Portside Pub on Valentine’s Day for an early show from Vancouver duo Team Hewitt. Tim Hewitt and Spring Burke blend acoustic instruments with live-looping technology to create the illusion of a full band. Covering Celtic music, classic tunes and current hits, Team Hewitt pleases crowds and gets them moving too.

Pandora & The Lockmiths are a collection of dynamic performers fusing singing, dancing, live music, and striptease artistry into one fierce spectacle.
