Dutil. Calls for Submissions for Fade February 2014
Dutil is looking for the best raw denim fades for their 3rd Annual Fade February Contest! Enter for a chance to win a pair of jeans from Baldwin, Naked & Famous or Rogue Territory.
Dutil is accepting submissions now until Friday, February 21st, 2014. To enter, send a picture of your jeans, along with your name, # of months of wear, and # of washes to dutil@dutildnenim.com
The event takes place from 2-5 p.m., and you are required to be in-store on Saturday February 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. for registration. Dutil’s specially-appointed panel of judges will then determine this year’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, which will be announced at 3 p.m. Icy cold beverages are generously sponsored by Cariboo Brewing.
Gastown Tattoo Parlour Hugabull Fundraiser
Have you been thinking about getting a tattoo? Gastown Tattoo Parlour is offering a very unique and exciting fundraiser. For a minimum donation of $160, you can chose from seven amazing Pit Bull tattoos! All proceeds to go to Hugabull Advocacy Search & Rescue Society.

Spirit in Motion by Jennifer Walden at Inuit Gallery
The Inuit Gallery is proud to present a collection of works by painter Jennifer Walden which explores dynamic motion in the wildlife of the north; a bear shaking water from his fur, a pack of wolves running through the snow and the flight of thousands of arctic birds. Living in Yellowknife, Walden has become celebrated for her heavily textured and richly coloured paintings of northern wildlife, landscape and character. Visit The Inuit Gallery from now until Thursday, March 6th to view her remarkable work.
L’Abattoir Dinner with Derek Dammann
L’Abattoir Restaurant is very excited to be welcoming Derek Dammann of Montreal’s Maison Publique for the evening of Thursday, February 20th. Derek will collaborate with the kitchen team at L’Abattoir to create a special seven course meal paired with wines and cocktails. Reservations are available 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $150 per guest exclusion of taxes
(including beverage pairings and gratuity)

The Golden Tour at The Portside Pub
This Tuesday, February 18th, RELIC, Fresh Kils, Ghettosocks Attikus, Immaculate and Chadio are teaming up for a live hip hop show at The Portside Pub.
Cost: $5 – Tuesday night special cover
Doors open at 10pm. Show starts shortly after.
