LYNNSTEVEN HOSTS NICOLE BRIDGER POP-UP
If you like eco-friendly fashion, check out the collection by local designer, Nicole Bridger. LYNNSteven will celebrate their five-year anniversary and kick off the holidays with a Nicole Bridger pop-up shop on Thursday, December 4th, 5-8pm. There are great prizes to be won from Rails, Line and Lyyrah, bubbly, Archimallow’s homemade marshmallows, and special promotions off in-store items.
ART SHOW FUNDRAISER
Liquid Amber is hosting their 2nd annual art show fundraiser on Sunday, December 7th, between 3-9pm. This event will feature paintings, sculptures and photography by seven local artists, along with door prizes and silent auction items donated by Gastown businesses. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to North Shore Rescue, a volunteer based mountain search and rescue team in Vancouver.
SILVER GALLERY OPENS
If you’re on the hunt for natural gemstone jewellery, the newly-opened Silver Gallery has one of Canada’s largest selections. Now open at 208 Water St, Silver Gallery houses more than 50,000 pieces of modern sterling silver jewelry designs, Native art works, natural gemstones, and semiprecious stones like Canadian diamonds, green amethyst and London Blue topaz.
HOLIDAY WREATH WORKSHOPS
Kick off the holiday season by joining Old Faithful for their Holiday Wreath Workshop on Sunday December 14th from 7-9pm. Hosted by florist Nicola Adam, the workshop provides you with the tools, materials and knowledge to create your very own one-of-a-kind succulent wreath for your homestead. With hot apple cider brewing and a fresh batch of baked goods for you to nibble on we’re sure there will be plenty of good cheer to go around. Space is limited. Visit here for more information.
Olla Flowers is continuing their workshop series this Sunday December 7th. In this edition, guests will learn how to create long lasting indoor living wreaths using locally harvested carpet moss, succlents and air plants. Each participant will talk away with a beautiful 8” wreath and candle. The $115 cost includes all materials, light snacks and tea. You can register for this workshop here.

Meuse Boutique is hosting a ‘Put a Bow on it’, a festive fete pop-up shop presented by Taffete Designs. From December 5th to 7th, pop in to experience a world of holiday and shop from local vendors: Archimallows, Olive and Piper, Woodlot, Vancouver Candle Co, and Petitepuf Cotton Candy.
FLASH TATTOOS & LOCAL ARTWORKS
Sugar Skull will host the holiday edition of their ArtRoots show, a unique showcase of local art with flash tattoos and live music this Saturday, December 6th at 4pm.
