THINGS TO CHECK OUT THIS WEEK IN GASTOWN
Written by Gastown Admin
#MYGASTOWN PHOTO OP: MAKE IT RAIN
Looking for something new to photograph? This week is your last chance catch a glimpse of ‘Make it Rain’, the reflective art installation that took a temporary home at the Steam Clock pedestal.
And while you’re sneaking a last-minute selfie by the pop-up art tower, why not turn it into a ‘before and after’ photo op with the Steam Clock? The iconic landmark will make a grand return to its home on the corner of Cambie and Water Street in mid January.
CLASSIC TERRARIUM WORKSHOP
If you’ve made resolutions to cultivate a new skill, join Olla Flowers‘ upcoming workshop and learn how to build and care for a low maintenance terrarium. Each participant can design their own classic terrarium, working with a premium glass bowl and choosing from locally grown tropical plants. The workshop cost is $85 and includes all materials, light snacks and tea.
DON’T FORGET…
