@Pourhouse

Sunday, December 10
5.30pm

5:30-6:30 Double D
Local sideman to many, playing guitar (slide a specialty), lap steel, baritone guitar and bass. Double D performs largely solo, playing a blend of blues, rockabilly, jazz, country and the odd bit of proto-punk or psychedelic rock.

7:00-10:00 The Burying Ground
The Burying Ground has a lively and gritty sound with tight harmony and a driving rhythm section reminiscent of the music of the juke joints and jazz halls of the 1920’s and ’30s. The band moves effortlessly between toe-tapping dance music, the yearning of country blues and the embellishments and energy of ragtime and jazz.
