Hello there Neighbour!

Freshly arrived into Neighbour this week – New York based modern sportswear label, Paa. Established in 2013, Paa is a new player in the field of modern sportswear. It focuses heavily on turning a classic on its head, a phrase that may be taken quite literally given the range of hats and caps that Paa founded their company on. They have slowly begun to introduce an expansion into clothing, reinterpreting and re-perfecting sportswear staples one garment at a time.

Pop Icons – Rihanna et al.

Rihanna is in Gastown along with Jay-Z, Beyonce and Mick.

Canadian artist André Monet portrays the pop icons of our time in expressive, large-format collages. Not only does he capture our fascination with celebrity culture, but also the complexity of the stars’ individual personalities. Human, vulnerable, and exalted at the same time, these charismatic celebrities bring us under their spell. The collection can be experienced and purchased currently in the Gastown Lumas Gallery.
