Eyeland Framemakers to host eco-friendly Trunk Show in collaboration with KUMA
Eyeland Framemakers will be transformed into a KUMA showroom, from Friday, July 22 until Sunday, July 24,2016. Guests will have the opportunity to experience all that this eco-friendly brand has to offer. KUMA is a Vancouver based, eco-conscious brand of frames and sunglasses that work to protect your eyes, as well as our environment. Primarily made from renewability-minded sources such as bamboo, along with other materials that are led and nickel free. When guests purchase a frame – KUMA, in collaboration with non-profit organization ‘Trees for the Future’, will plant one tree in a developing nation

A2Z is a new improvisational music collective focused on making the audience move and keep them moving. They will migrate from any genre to do it – afrobeat, dancehall, funk, rock, reggae, soul, zouk-all of these styles and more, and energetically explored by the Vancouver quintet. As the lineup of the project can vary, the steadfast commitment to groove and sonic freedom does not. For the summer of 2016 A2Z’s contributors are:
Tim Proznick, Darren Parris, Mike Agranovich, Gavin Youngash & Maz Zipursky.

Born in Detroit in 1983, Edgar learned piano in black churches as a kid and DJing among Detroit’s hometown heroes as a teen. Under various personas (including Kristuit Salu vs Morris Nightingale, and Michaux), Edgar spent his late teens and early 20s experimenting with strains of Techno, G-Funk, House, Electro, Bass Music, and even his own “software virus as music”.
