L’Abattoir Celebrates Food Day Canada with Special Menu by Chef Lee Cooper.
L’Abattoir is one of 250 restaurants across Canada that will participate in Food Day. This Saturday July 30th, come celebrate the best in Canadian culinary excellence, artisanal creations and all things deliciously edible that come north of the border.
L’Abattoir is arguably one of the most solidly creative and award-blessed restaurants in British Columbia. This Saturday, Chef Cooper and his L’abattoir team have concocted a summer themed menu made entirely from ingredients sourced in BC. This rare dining experience comes but once a year.

During the photowalk, the discussion will centre around photographic techniques and creative composition, while you visit some of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Learn about past architectural forms and how to photograph them.

La Mezcaleria – Now Open!
Located on 68 East Cordova Street, La Mezcaleria is now open. La Mezcaleria in Vancouver is the first restaurant to offer a wide variety of the finest mezcals, as well as, high quality tequilas and cocktails inspired by the different regions of Mexico. Their dishes mirror traditional mexican recipes while sourcing organic ingredients locally and serving ocean-friendly seafood options. Many of the platos are made for sharing and they have gluten free and vegetarian options.
