Cold Brew Coffee in Gastown

It’s hot out there and knowing where to get good, cold brewed coffee is essential to summer survival. Timbertrain, Buro, Revolver, Starbucks, East Van Roasters and Nelson the Seagull – they all serve great cold coffee.

New at Bauhaus – Chef’s Summer Tasting Menu

Chef Stefan Hartmann continues to delight and surprise with his innovative techniques and menu curation. Bauhaus’ new Chef’s Tasting Menu starts with Sturgeon with cucumber and dill, followed closely by Cod with bell pepper, cider and cilantro. Then, indulge in a Skate Wing with artichoke, leek, and mussels. Moving on, sample the famed Squab Breast with peas, chanterelles, and potato, as well as the Pork Cheek with cabbage, schupfnudel, and mustard. (Don’t forget to pair with a great wine!) Lastly, enjoy the Blueberry dessert with milk, pepper, and lemon-verbena.

Fri. August 5, 2016

Show 10pm
Pay-What-You-Can

The Electric Monks are a funk orchestra out of East Vancouver, BC. Specializing in dance parties since 2011, they’ve been known to lay down a funky good time with some old school cool. The Electric Monks boast a collection of talented Vancouver musicians and excite crowds with burning solos, tight arrangements and a slamming rhythm section. The band draws their inspiration from the dance music of Maceo Parker, Jimmy Smith, John Scofield and MM&W. Some good honest backbeat!
