POPPING UP ON THE BLOCK
Have you seen the pop up next door to Kit & Ace on Water Street? KOKKO is a concept boutique for the fashion savvy. They’ll be open at 157 Water for the next month with highly exclusive and internationally renowned brands like Kenzo, Sonya Rykiel, Comme des Garcon, and See By Chloe.
Four gentlemen from Vancouver, Canada are The Uptights. It’s what they call the wild, whirring patterns of sound they’re developing in an effort to transform dark static rooms filled with disparate crowds into audiences that respond in unison to the jumpy, jittery rhythms of perfectly executed power pop. Check them out this Thursday night at The Lamplighter.
