Gastown's Holiday Helpers Instagram Contest
You might recognize some of these cute, local faces. To celebrate the holiday season, the Gastown blog team has recruited four-legged Holiday Helpers to bring festive cheer to the neighbourhood and help you with your shopping.
Over 20 Gastown dogs were dressed up in festive holiday garb for a full blown photo shoot. We’ve printed the photos and have “hidden” them in select Gastown stores. If you discover a photo of one of these Holiday Helpers in participating Gastown stores, snap a picture and share it over Instagram to be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from a Gastown business, from December 2-24, 2013.
Here’s how to enter Gastown’s Holiday Helpers Instagram Contest
Step 1: Discover a Holiday Helper in store
Step 2: Snap a pic of the Holiday Helper photo
Step 3: Post your pic to Instagram and include #GastownHolidogs
It’s that simple! Winners will be drawn at random each week from December 2-24, 2013. Look for a Holiday Helpers poster in store windows to see which stores are participating or ask inside. The pictures may be hiding, so make sure to browse the store for things you like and for the Holiday Helpers photo.
Contest Prizes: $50 Gift Certificate to one of the following:
Orling & Wu, Dutil Denim, Pourhouse Restaurant, Hill’s Native Art, Jade Vancouver, Tait Boutique, Alfie Italia, Ego Closet, Old Faithful Shop, Artinas Jewellery, John Fluevog, Chill Winston Restaurant, Niftydo, Board of Trade Co., LynnSteven, Holly Boutique, Nouvelle Nouvelle, Rowan Sky, Honey Gifts, The Block, and Mi Kemistry.
Contest runs from December 2-24. The more entries, the better chances of winning. Come down to the neighbourhood and get to as many Gastown stores as possible!
