Dusty lives and works in Gastown, enjoying long walks to Strathcona, Chinatown, Mt. Pleasant and the Seawall. And while he loves checking with friends at Alfie Italia, Inform Interiors, Unique Antiques and Old Faithful Shop, he’s a sucker for weekend getaways to Hornby Island.
Whether he’s hitting Crab Park, getting zen at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen garden, sailing English Bay or hitting the beach on Hornby, this powder puff is a show stopper. One part lap dog, one part guard dog and eight parts circus pup, he will pirouette for treats. Maybe that’s what the Biebs noticed…
Dusty is often the object of affection for customers at Salmagundi and many have tried to take him home with the rest of the purchases, but a chance meeting with Justin Bieber takes the cake. During a trip to Los Angeles, Dusty crossed paths with the crooner in a Whole Foods parking lot and earned an offer of $10k to stay. It’s Gastown over the Grammys any day.
