We planned to wait until the end of the month to share or ‘best of’ from Instagram this month, but with Vancouver’s birthday and the Gastown Shop Hop, we already had our fill, so here goes.
April kicked off with an IG Takeover by Winnie Sun, which closed out with this great night shot of Water Street (left). And while the month gave us our first warm, sunny days of the year, there was enough rain to provide an inspiring reflection for Alex Costin.
Austin Machholz put the W in Gastown with this stunning shot of the old Woodwards sign. And to keep things going in a decidedly vintage direction, we posted a trio of pics to celebrate Vancouver’s 129th birthday, the most popular of which was this 70s pic in Maple Tree Square.
WIth the sun comes fun events in Gastown, kicking 2015 off in style at Shop Hop. This shot (left) from The Block was the first of several for us, but when the night got underway, it was all about you. Nara posted this adorable shot (right) of her cotton candy from L’Atelier.
Always in the neighbourhood, Josh Romijn captured a trio of troublemakers (we’re just kidding, they’re adorable) outside dutil. Even this year’s mint Shop Hop balloons got in on the action. Is it just us, or is this colour super hot right now?
And finally, this fantastic shot (right) in Salmagundi by Emily Ann Santi. It just works and we love it.
