Gastown on Instagram in September
This month, we welcomed a few newcomers, got up close and personal with a Covus Corax and handed the reins over to legendary local. Here’s our favourite IG snaps from September.
As summer started to wind down, Soft Peaks unveiled milkshakes and it was epic. Can’t wait to hear what October’s flavour will be. Over at Old Spaghetti Factory, this amazing dinner was shared by @iamkimstar. We think the hand makes the pic.
We welcomed a few newcommers this month. At 18th Amendment, it’s all about the do and a few blocks west, the women of Truvelle were busy making veils.
As the days get shorter, we’re reminded that time is precious (mostly because that sign lights up earlier now). This fab shot by @stray_matter even includes some tail lights zipping by. Down the street at John Fluevog, the raven, aka a Covus Corax, arrived. This amazing sculture is titled ‘sense of silence’ and was created by Gastown designer & artist, Lee Roberts. See it before it disappears on November 2nd.
We closed the month with another great IG takeover. This time it was Timbertrain’s own, Josh Romijn @jromijn at the helm and he nailed. it. I mean look at this shot from Strike Movement! We also loved that he highlighted the mad skills of head beer curator at Steamworks, @lupulist.
