You know how the saying goes – “’tis the season to eat, drink, and be merry… in Gastown.”
We’re giving you plenty of reasons to jingle your way down here to celebrate this season. From ballet in storefronts, roaming mariachi and brass bands to Indigenous story-telling and light-installations, it’s all going down in Gastown. Expect numerous kisses under the mistletoe, free Evo rides, late night shopping and extended happy hours.

Gastown Thursday Nights are back for the holiday season. From November 24th to December 22nd a different event will be taking over the streets or storefronts. Enjoy live entertanment, late night shopping, and happy hours at select establishments. Every Thursday night.

It’s baaack! During the holiday season, mistletoe will be hung in 10 different locations throughout the neighbourhood (plus all storefronts), inviting you to walk the streets while spreading the love – and nothing less – on social media using the hashtag #kissmeingastown. This year, we’ve partnered with local florist Avelyn.

Its no reindeer, BUT we’ve partnered with Evo Car Share for the month of December to give away up to 20 free bonus minutes. Send Evo a picture via their social direct messages the next time you’re in Gastown and they’ll gift you 15 free driving minutes (one entry per Member). Plus recieve 5 bonus minutes if you attend one of our Gastown Thursday Night events (snap an event photo and send it their way).
