Steamworks is one of the best spots to unwind from a hard day at work. With a wide selection of beer choices, you are guaranteed to satisfy your beer fix. Recently, Steamworks has started brewing their own brand of beer and has created their own house-brewed Pumpkin Ale. This malty, spiced ale is a perfect choice for Fall, brewed with pumpkin pie spices, 100lbs of pumpkin, with hints of cinnamon, dark nutmeg, cloves, and fresh ginger. If you’re in the mood for an Irish gastropub experience, add the Irish Heather to your list. The Irish Heather is a Gastown institution providing jolly times, live band music, and great selection of the top notch drinks from Bourbon Sours to beer and whiskey. Our favourite drink to warm the soul is their Irish Coffee, made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, hot coffee, and heavy cream – a staple drink for cold winter nights in the 1940s.
