The Lost Souls of Gastown Tour

8 - 9:30 pm

A Gothic Adventure

Venture into Vancouver’s earliest and most gruesome history on the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour. You’ll discover a time when Vancouver was the Granville Townsite – the wild frontier town that suffered a devastating fire, smallpox outbreaks, and unsolved murders.

Designed for adult audiences, the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour is both a walking tour and a theatre piece. Created by Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tour’s Chief Storyteller Will Woods – and based on documented Vancouver history – the plot weaves through back streets and alleyways to a dramatic finale in the heart of Gastown’s Maple Tree Square.

Highlights

  • Led by a professional actor.
  • Designed for adult audiences.
  • Gothic stories of the city’s dark early history.
  • Meet at Cathedral Square beneath the bells of the Holy Rosary Cathedral.
  • Finishes in Maple Tree Square, surrounded by the city’s best bars and restaurants.

CHRIS HO

While singer-songwriter Chris Ho can seem mercurial at times, there is an undeniably deep feeling of hope and perseverance that speaks through his fervent melodies. His is the kind of voice that can captivate a room into quiet reflection. There is as much power behind it as restraint. It is this heart-on-sleeve intensity that drives him to not so much create but capture the bittersweet nature of love, loss, hope, and growth.

ADRIAN CHALIFOUR

Victoria, BC-based singer-songwriter Adrian Chalifour has been performing heart-driven original music for more than 15 years, most notably as the founder and charismatic frontman of Towers and Trees, a solo home-recording project that grew into one of BC’s most notable indie bands. With T&T his songs have charted on Canadian radio and he has toured the country extensively, performing at festivals like Canadian Music Week, Indie Week, Breakout West and many more.
