This year, Blacktail is offering the unicorn of all New Year’s Eve celebrations: a no-nonsense evening! Surround yourself with likeminded revellers and enjoy an evening designed to be carefree and uncomplicated.
The night will feature everyday seating and menu service, with the addition of special cocktail features and the option of a seven-course tasting menu designed by Executive Chef Geoff Rogers exclusively for this jubilant occasion. To round out the evening, a complimentary glass of bubbly will allow guests a chance to raise a glass and toast to the New Year ahead.
The tasting menu will cost $100 per person, not including tax and gratuity, and entire table participation in the menu is required.

L’ABATTOIR
L’Abattoir is offering up two ways for guests to experience its elegant menu, all while celebrating 2015. Party-goers can hobnob with other guests in the restaurant’s main dining area, where L’Abattoir will be serving up its full a la carte dinner service. Guests can sate their appetites with juicy pork shoulder cooked in milk with boudin noir, or keep it light and sample the Pacific ling cod fillet with a crispy sesame crust. Behind the bar, Shaun Layton will keep the party going with a combination of classic and specially designed cocktails.
For a more intimate experience, revellers can book a table for the evening in L’Abattoir’s premier private dining space. Sip on perfectly paired wine and cocktails and savour each bite of the five-course dinner menu, specially designed by Chef Lee Cooper. Highlights include foie gras parfaits with brioche and cherry, and chocolate cremeaux with passion fruit and yogurt sorbet to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Tables in the private dining space can accommodate groups from 2-6 people, and reservations are available between 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on New Year’s Eve. The $150-per-person price includes the five-course-course dinner and beverage parings. With only 50 seats available, these pre-sold dinner tickets will surely sell out quickly!

THE BLARNEY STONE
You’re always guaranteed to have a good time at the Blarney Stone. This year, they’re hosting an entertaining NYE event with a grand countdown on their big screen projector.
Festivities will start 8pm with an hearty buffet dinner. Sate your appetite with braised beef, roast chicken, and lemon dill salmon with all the fixings. While you dine, DJ Steel will be throwing down live mixes all night, along with resident band, the Sheets, who will perform a swinging mix of Celtic, folk, reggae, and rock tunes.
When the clock strike midnight, confetti canyons and balloons will abound from every angle, as you raise your glass of complimentary champagne.
