The 5th Annual Make Music Vancouver Returns Tonight!
Tonight, the neighbourhood will be filled with a swirling soundscape of music styles. Make Music Vancouver is back for its fifth run with hundreds of undiscovered artists and bands set to perform live on the streets of Gastown.

A series of concerts is happening throughout the neighbourhood between 5pm to 10pm. Water and Carrall streets will transform into an array of sidewalk stages and dance floors to celebrate music of all genres and caliber. Afterwards, the party continues inside our restaurants and nightlife venues.
The first-ever Vancouver edition debuted in 2011 and drew 150 bands and 20,000 spectators to our historic streets. Inspired by La Fête de la Musique in France, Make Music is a part of a global live music celebration that takes place each year in over 450 cities worldwide today. This one-day event was created to make music accessible to the public and provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents in front of a large audience.
