Vancouver’s only Irish owned Irish pub, The Irish Heather is as authentic as you can find off the Island. The gastropub proudly boasts an extensive list of whiskies and scotches along with unique cocktails, and rest assured, they do know how pour a proper pint of Guinness.

Start in the Heather and wend your way into the adjacent Shebeen Whisky House. Here you’ll find more than a character or two to engage with in good conversation. There will be traditional Irish music, good times and a few drink specials to get you in the celtic vibe.

SUNDAY DINNER FROM YOUR MA’S KITCHEN

The Irish Heather is delighted to offer a traditional Sunday dinner on Saint Patrick’s day titled: “Your Ma’s Kitchen”.

Irish families come together every Saint Patrick’s day to pay respect to their patron saint, have a meal, and remember those relatives who are not with them. March 17th in Ireland is a lot like Thanksgiving Day here, and in fact, Irish pubs were not allowed to open until the mid 1970’s.

On March 17th, The Irish Heather is offering that same family experience, at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm (3 seatings) for $45 plus tax and service.

For $45, guests will enjoy a meal that consists of: Entree, Dessert, Beverage, along with the enjoyment of traditional Irish Music.

Main Course: Corned Beef Dinner: Handmade authentic corned beef, colcannon mashed potatoes, braised cabbage, honey roasted carrots and a white parsley sauce.

Dessert: Apple crumble: Stewed Apple, Oatmeal Crumble and Vanilla Custard.

Beverage: Pint of Guinness/or other beer, or a glass of red or white wine.
