Grey, wine and burgundy are the seasonal colours currently found at Artemisia. Dresses in lace and silk suggest an old world feel while remaining subtle and handsome. They have just received many new FW 2016 items and are excited to share them (and sell them!).

They have some very fetching items in such as ANOTHER A Wide Leg Crop Trousers in Grey – made in Korea these grey culottes feature a wide leg, cropped and cuffed hem, belt loops, two side pockets, zip and button closure. Also quite desirable and also from ANOTHER A the Oversized Long Jacket in Grey – long, loose and confortable for Autumn.
Fluevog never fails to entice, challenge and excite. What he has in store for this season is par the course and then some. May we present to you: The Mezzo Dallas Tall Boot with Studded Shaft – this knee-high boot is crafted from soft, Portuguese leathers and features antique silver studs, a 2.5″ wrapped leather heel and a rubber sole.
Kit and Ace has created many highly wearable fall pieces. Neighbour Women is consistently on point and this seasons’ repertoire is no exception. Nothing short of perfect is The Elsa Doublé Coat Navy by Acne Studios. Made in Korea with a wool and cashmere blend, this oversized, cross-seasonal coat has a classic look with longer sleeves you can roll up.
Nicole Bridger has created a superlative coat for the season. It’s water resistant, made from eco friendly fibers, designed, cut and sewn in Vancouver and it looks great. The Discover Trench and come in slate, taupe and black, and even has a pop of colour in the lining to cheer you up while trudging through the doldrums.
Go to Oak & Fort and look for their Coat 4120 – a military-inspired, utility jacket made for warmth and comfort. Hewn with soft cotton fabric with just a little bit of stretch, this fetching piece, and one, which could be worn throughout the fall and winter.
One of a Few is a Gastown mecca of style and accouterment. From Objects Without Meaning – their Button-Back Dress in Navy– this Button-Back Dress is the quintessential feminine dress, updated, done with an incredible fit and made in USA from Objects Without Meaning. Cut in a rich navy 100 % cotton poplin with a round collar, sleeveless top and scooped arm holes.
We found boots, coats and hats at Secret Location; a veritable collection that welcomes the new season with grace, sophistication and style. Paris-based footwear brand Aperlaï has brought us The Laura Military Green Boot – made for the daring and cosmopolitan woman. The military green is luscious and the gold tone grommets make the entire boot pop.
There’s a hat at Secret Location we’re rather fond of – from Maison Michel in Paris – The Charles Hat – a neutral tone of the diapson grey gives it a nice city-chic vibe with beautiful textures thanks to the furfelt material.
The Block has started to feature its fall lineup. Quite desirable is The Ulla Johnson Alpaca Sasha Wrap and The YMC Ecru Jacket in Cotton.
There are some very comfy sweaters at Wardrobe Apparel. By J JS LEE – their softwool/acrylic Blend Chunky Sweater – made in the UK – this thick and cozy sweater with a slouchy, substantial silhouette features a color blocked wool pocket.
